![]() The Lone AreaYou find yourself in the mists of a strange aura that seems to enchant you in some strange, haunting sort of way. As you approach the lone area, you find that it seems to be some sort of dry area. Perhaps even a desert. You examine the area more closely. The change from grass to desert is so drastic that it is almost comical. You could literally put the same foot on both dry and cultivated land. You hear a small TWANKAIT sound that snaps you to your attention. You look about, trying to find what had made the sound. You see, hear, and smell nothing. "Hello?" you call out. There is no response. You think that it is probably just some sort of animal in the area, that is all, so you continue your examination of the area. "What do you think you are doing here?" a rather agrivated elf asks. You gulp and step back, trying desperately to explain yourself. She looks at you and nods. "You, then, are a wanderor, correct? I am E'van'ka. I am surprised you didn't just tell me you were a wanderor to begin with." You suck up your pride and ask, "What are you here for?" She looks at you. "Well, I am try to make this the proper home of a Delhi...a desert creature." "I guessed that much," you interupt. "Anyway," she continues, "we, that is the gryphons and I, are creating this small place for the creature. If one deciedes to come to stay here, then we will definately give the creature a chance to move into the desert." "What is it again?" "A Delhi." "A Delhi?" The girl sighs. "They are like sheeps, goats, and llamas...they have types and ranks. For instance, a De'im is their name for a female, De'ar is for a male, De'ai is a foal, and Pah'llam is a herd." You nod, pretending to understand. "You'll have to go there to understand, wanderor."
