I am looking for lore on dragons breathe. I cannot remember where I heard it, but remember a saying that went something like; There are many who believe that the breathe of a dragon can do two things it can enchant items forged from it's breathe for truth in battle and assured victory. It also mentioned something about a dragons purest tear can heal the body of the fallen. I was wondering if you could suggest any books that might lead me to finding information on this and also the ancient Dragon Alphabet. I would truly appreciate this. Your website is one of the best I have seen on Dragons.

What do you mean by, 'The legs and talons are also out of proportion, but, if enlarged, can make a plausible serpent?' In your reasons why Chinese can/cannot be real, you say that, and I'm not sure what you mean.

I appreciate your work here...there are so many legends that one has to believe that dragons must have existed in the past.

In your section on how western dragons could have evolved from Pteronadon you stated that they were about the size of turkeys. One thing I wold like to mention is that if dragons did evolve from petronadons then most likely they could have grown very large. Many early mammals the size of rats at the end of the Cretaceous period evolved into creatures that were almost twice the size of elephants. Another thing is that it is true Pteronadons were small flying reptiles they were not the only family. One species called the quetzalcoatlus could grow to be the size of a small plane. Just wanted to make that point clear.
