The dragon has a catlike friendliness in this piece, playing with a fairy that is completely unafraid of the winged serpent. Because fairies are generally small, this little dragon might only be the size of a bug.
About the Artist:
Wenche Skjöndal is an artist currently living in Gothenburg, Sweden. Born in Norway and educated in Stockholm, she absorbed the tales of trolls and creatures of fantasy in the natural world. Her fantastical artwork can be seen in yearly exhibitions in Norway and Sweden.
