A Quick History
The Circle of the Dragon started back in 2000 on Angelfire, a free web host. Originally, it was only meant to be a small site with theories on dragons and serpents in myth. Soon after the Dragons of Fame section opened, the site's scope widened to include more factual data.
Site Hosing and Domain Names
The Circle of the Dragon moved to Brinkster in January 2001. A new short-cut URL was used for about a year. The domain name BlackDrago.com was bought for the site powered by iPowerWeb. It is currently registered through GoDaddy.
In 2009, the domain http://www.circleofthedragon.com/ was taken for The Circle of the Dragon.
Coding Style
Coded originally in HTML 4.0, the site shifted to XHTML 1.0 Strict in 2003. Some Javascript has been used in the testing pages.
